Tour Description

Hop on and hop off several of Lisbon’s 5 remaining trams with your guide and see Lisbon. The tour starts at the Prazeres Cimetery. you pass the Estrela Basilica and along the riverfront and the district of Graca with its 12th Century Monastery of Saint Vincent before heading into the old city centre of Alfama with its colorful tiled houses sometimes passing so close you can almost touch them. Taking the famous Tram 28 you make your way through the Baixa district passing the Praca do Comercio which was designed by Pombal the Minister responsible for rebuilding much of Lisbon after the Great Earthquake in 1755 before finishing at the Miradouro da Garca with its superb views over the city.
