Tour Description

The morning starts with a tour of the charming town of Sintra, colourful town houses nestled in the wooded Serra de Sintra valley give a romantic air to this once regular haunt for Portuguese Royalty. The Palacio Nacional and Palacio de Pena are a must with their yellow and red Neo Renaissance turrets and cupolas and sweeping views across Sintra and Cascais Natural Park.

After Sintra you make your way to Cabo da Roca Europe’s most Westerly point, where the land ends and the sea starts, magnificent views across the Atlantic and the beaches of Cascais. There’s a break for lunch, a delicious fish lunch overlooking the beach and in the afternoon there will be time to explore the cosmopolitan towns of Cascais and Estoril.
