Tour Description
Visit the beautiful hill top town of Sintra. Once a regular
haunt and residence of Portuguese Royalty today it is now a UNESCO World
Heritage site. The day tour will include a trip to the Palacio da Pena (or the Palacio
Nacional) your guide will explain the history of the Palacio de Pena
built in 1840 as you wander through the towers, ramparts and gardens. Next a visit to the 19th Century Moorish Castelo dos Mouros with its fantastic views of Lisbon and the
Serra da Arrabida. The tour finishes with a visit to the historical franc-macons buildings of the Quinta de Regaleria.
